£500 for an all day (10.00 am to 5pm) workshop

We normally run the courses on Saturdays and Sundays, but if you want a weekday workshop, drop us a line and we’ll see what we can do !

Yes.

You will get a 100% refund (less agent comission and any bank charges) but the cancellation must be confirmed in an email to admin@streetphotoworkshop.co.uk no later than 24 hours before the start of the workshop.

A later cancellation or a no show on the day will incur the full fee.

For the initial critique please send to admin@streetphotoworkshop.co.uk 24 hours before the start of the cousre the best (3) examples of your work and be prepared to defend them with your life.

Students may bring any gear they are comfortable working with. All you need is a digital camera or cameraphone

We have a maximum of 10 people attending each workshop

We start promptly at 10am and finish at 5pm.

We will then often adjourn to a pub (optional) to spend the night talking photography.

Photographers of all experience levels are welcome.

We have tutored to experienced professionals and absolute beginners.

Anything digital from iPhones to digital DSLRs and mirrorless cameras. Every one has the potential to take a great image.

 

Traditionally street photographers use lenses between about 28mm and 50mm. But there are no rules. Bring a telephoto or zoom lens if you want.  

No. Some of the best street photographs are taken in heavy rain.

If it is raining really hard we will let you shorten the two student shooting hours if you wish, in which case we’ll spend more time critiquing and teaching you composition.

Only paying participants over the age of 18 are allowed to attend

The course is situated on Fleet Street in London. The pavements are flat (although there is a gentle incline passing up to St. Pauls Cathedral)

How far you walk is up to you.

The lectures are sitting down. We even have bean bags.

No. Participants are asked to bring their own lunch with them or to purchase it during the lunch break.

There are coffee and sadwich shops galore on Fleet Street.
